**About AltWork**

**Job Purpose**

The Social Media and Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing a Social Media strategy in order to increase online presence and improve online marketing and sales efforts.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

Includes but not limited to:
Research and develop methods to promote the organisation via the use of social media channelsDevelop and implement new social media strategies and campaigns-
Edit and develop photo and video materials for social media platformsScheduling social media postsPromote products, services and content over social media, in a way that is consistent with an organisation’s brand and social media strategyKeeping track of data and analysing the performance of social media campaignsManaging a budget to be spent on promoting social media posts and pay-per-click (PPC) advertisingCreating engaging content to engage current customers and attract new ones.Responding to customers queries on social mediaCollaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses

**Requirements**:
**Education Required**MatricA Degree, certificate, or diploma in Marketing, Social Media management, or in related field of study

**Experience Required**2 years proven experience in a
- ** **marketing or similar roleExcellent knowledge of various social media platforms ( Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ )Photo and video-editing experience (Photoshop, Canva, etc)Good understanding of social media KPIsUnderstanding of SEO and web traffic metricsExperience using Google Analytics and social reporting tools

**Skills Required**:
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and marketing softwareProblem solvingCommunication (written and verbal)Presentation skills
