POSITION OVERVIEW:

**Schedule**:Monday - Friday (Nightshift)

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Recruitment & Onboarding:_
- Coordinate and conduct new employee onboarding and orientation programs including arranging background screening checks with service providers.
- Employee Relations:_
- Act as a point of contact for employee enquiries and concerns.
- Address and resolve employee grievances and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
- Initiate, chair or support in disciplinary hearings.
- Performance Management:_
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.
- Support managers in probation reviews, performance appraisals and employee development plans.
- Compliance & Record-Keeping:_
- Ensure compliance with South African labour laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.
- Compensation & Benefits:_
- Assist in administering employee benefits programs and compensation structures.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and manage employee queries related to compensation.
- HR Administration:_
- Prepare HR reports and assist in HR projects and initiatives.
- Handle administrative tasks related to HR operations, such as leave management and attendance tracking.
- Coordinate with payroll departments to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries.
- Ensure all employee records (personal details, employment history, performance evaluations, etc.) are up-to-date and accurate.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources.
- 3-4 years of HR experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of South African labour laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, resilience, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proactive and adaptable to changing work environments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
