Commission and Remuneration Quality Assurer

Role Purpose
Requirements
- Matric (Grad)e 12
- B-Degree (finance related) will be preferable
- Minimum of 5 years payroll experience preferably in a commissions environment
- Thorough knowledge of taxation in a payroll and commissions environment
Duties & Responsibilities

**Internal Process**
- Review work performed within the team and provide feedback
- Authorise various payroll and payment related transactions
- Conduct DR Testing and month end
- Identify; report on and monitor process and system improvements required on identified themes in QA execution.
- Identify any possible gaps, risks or training requirements for internal processes and procedures and engage with the relevant stakeholders to compile action plans.
- Collate information regarding quality assurance and adherence to standard operating procedures to obtain a holistic view of the operational environment.
- Report on areas of opportunity and risk within the team(s) and make recommendations to close identified gaps.
- In conjunction with the team management provide the team with constructive feedback with regards to quality assurance assessments and identify new/enhanced and/or improved processes for implementation
- Implement quality assurance processes, standards, and requirements to ensure quality of the operational environment is monitored and maintained.

- Provide authoritative expertise and advise to stakeholders
- Act as an escalation point to resolve queries
- Deliver on SLAs made with clients and stakeholders to ensure that expectations are managed
- Make recommendations to improve service and fair treatment of clients and stakeholders

**Finance**
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiencies
- Perform Internal Financial Control reviews and provide input for risk mitigation and management
- In conjunction with team leadership, document business processes and maintain same.
