We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced **Clinical Marketing Nurse (half-day)** to join this passionate team. In this role, **you’ll be the face of Faircape Health** — building relationships with medical professionals, assessing patients for admission, and showcasing our diverse care offerings including subacute, respite, oncology, long-term, and palliative care.

What sets us apart is our **dedicated Multidisciplinary Team (MDT)** of leading healthcare professionals. Working collaboratively, our MDT ensures each patient receives personalised, holistic care tailored to their unique recovery journey — bridging the gap between hospital and home.

**Duties include but is not limited to the following**:

- Conduct **comprehensive pre-admission screenings** of all patients while in hospital to assess clinical suitability for admission to the facility.
- Evaluate the patient's general health and wellbeing, while clearly explaining the **admissions and medical aid authorisation process** to both patients and their families.
- Following each assessment, communicate findings and next steps to the relevant internal teams to facilitate a seamless admission process.
- Liaise daily with the MDT to confirm **bed availability** and the range of services required.
- Oversee and manage the full **authorisation process**, ensuring all approvals are obtained timeously and accurately.
- Accurately document and communicate any **special patient requests** on the internal system, including transfer preferences, dietary needs, or isolation protocols.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the **referral pathway**, and remain up to date on the status of authorisations and supporting documentation.
- Ensure each patient receives a complete **admissions pack**, including the facility brochure, welcome letter, and signed facility agreement prior to arrival.
- Secure the necessary **letters of motivation from the MDT** to support extension of stays and ensure medical aid coverage.
- Actively support **discharge planning**, contributing to smooth patient transitions.
- Attend and participate in weekly **MDT meetings**, contributing clinical insight, marketing feedback, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure all outreach efforts are **aligned with shared goals** and brand strategy.
- Develop and maintain a **comprehensive marketing plan**, outlining clear targets, strategies, and expected outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with **specialists and physicians** to drive continuous referrals and occupancy growth.
- Respond promptly to daily **enquiries from the website and social media platforms**, ensuring accurate and empathetic communication.
- Represent the Faircape Health brand at **talks, promotions, and community events**, actively contributing to brand awareness and trust.

**Qualifications**:

- Qualified as a Registered Nurse and registered with SANC
- Tertiary qualification in the fields of marketing /medical /administration advantageous

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Previous marketing, administration and case management experience would be an advantageous
