POSITION: Audit Manager

REPORTS TO: Partners

SUBORDINATES: 5-10

Overall objective of job function:
Responsible for executing the overall audit plan through monitoring and evaluating the audit process

and developing strategies to address identified risks.

Job Specification:
Key responsibilities will include, inter alia, managing:

- Audit engagements with a strong focus on deadlines
- Ensure audit engagement files are in compliance with international standards on auditing
- Ensure execution of the following audit requirements for each client:

- Planning of audit
- Fieldwork
- Review of audit
- Finalisation of audit
- Recruitment of audit staff
- Setting and managing KPI’s
- Develop, train and coach Trainee Accountants
- Timeous review and feedback of PSR/TSR/ANA’s for Trainee Accountants
- Review and monitor budgets versus actual
- Prepare audit department budgets and forecasts
- Review billing schedules prepared by auditors
- Review and monitor WIP

Remuneration:
Very flexible commensurate with experience for CA’s or for non CA’s

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Honours (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Audit Manager: 2 years (required)
- Caseware: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:
