Reporting to the Management Accountant, the Costing Clerk is responsible for providing a clerical and costing assistance to ensure sound adherence to financial procedures at our Central Kitchen facility.

**RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Process cost on items;
- Ensure all invoices received are VAT compliant;
- Capturing of stock into systems
- Resolve and process outstanding invoices;
- Ensure correct payments are loaded made within agreed terms;
- Maintain an efficient filing system with respect to accounting data, records, contracts and invoices;
- Extract information and data for the analysis of accounts, consolidate information and prepare spreadsheets for the accountant or business unit;
- Communicate, follow-up and resolve queries with suppliers and divisions; and
- Adherence to internal control procedures

**QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED**
- Professional Qualification: Grade 12 required;
- Experience: At least 2 years’ experience
- Micros experience advantageous.
- Accurate and meticulous;
- Methodical;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Good telephone etiquette;
- Good problem-solving ability;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent numeracy skills.
