**Junior Consultant BTC - Tourvest Travel Services**

**Purpose of the Job**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Issuing, Reissuing Tickets, and Refunds**:

- Work proficiently with Amadeus GDS to issue full domestic and international reservations (flights, hotels, transfers, etc.).
- Facilitate client prepayment requests and process accurate reissues and refunds.
- Ensure corporate fares are utilized appropriately.
- **Quality Control & Reservations**:

- Manage limited QC rejections and accurately complete multi-sector/round-the-world bookings.
- Ensure timely clearing of dashboards and TRF's within required SLA.
- **Policies and Procedures**:

- Adhere to all TTS policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with paperless processes.
- **Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)**:

- Fully align with TTS SOPs, especially Travelit SOP procedures (monitors, queues, online support, etc.).
- **Preferred Partners & Client Profiles**:

- Stay updated on preferred partners and client profiles, ensuring correct details and services are utilized.
- **Profit Performance**:

- Ensure all fees are correctly charged at ticketing and invoiced.
- Ensure no tickets remain on the un-invoiced list and all ECC charges are invoiced promptly.
- **Client Satisfaction & Relationships**:

- Understand and adhere to clients’ travel policies and provide timely solutions.
- Provide exceptional service with a client-centric approach, addressing any complaints promptly.
- **Tourvest Culture**:

- Embody the core values of Tourvest, including integrity, accountability, quality, respect, and leadership.
- **Daily Operations**:

- Manage user details, VIP traveller allocation, and cost centre updates in Travelit.
- Ensure efficient handling of bookings, updates, and administrative tasks.

**Educational Requirements**:

- Matric Qualification
- Travel Diploma

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in the travel industry, with at least 1 years in a junior role within a similar organization.

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- Knowledge of Amadeus GDS and ticketing systems
- Understanding of geographical locations, visa requirements, and fare structures
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor

**Additional Requirements**:

- Completed ticket reissue and fares courses
- Sound knowledge of business etiquette and customer service
- Ability to handle a variety of travel-related tasks with precision and attention to detail
