Navorsing:
- Deelname aan navorsingsaktiwiteite wat lei tot persoonlike ontwikkelingsdoelwitte (bv. PhD) en navorsingsuitsette in ooreenstemming metaanwysingsteikens wat deur die Afdeling gestel is;Neem deel aan departementele navorsingsinisiatiewe (bv. boekhoofstukke, inter-afdeling navorsingsprojekte, mede-toesighouding).-
Kliniese koördinering:

Teaching and administration:- Teaching community-based rehabilitation, professional practice, and related themes to undergraduate students;-
- Supervision, support and administration of undergraduate students on the training platform;-
- Contributing to UG programme development and curriculum renewal activities;-
- Research supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students in the focus areas of the Division;-
- Academic administration and serving as member on relevant committees.-
Research:- Engaging in research activities leading to personal development goals (e.g. PhD) and research outputs in line with designation targets set by the Division;-
- Engaging in divisional and departmental research initiatives (e.g., book chapters, inter-divisional research projects, co-supervision).-
Clinical coordination:- Securing clinical training sites to promote early clinical exposure to clinical learning spaces by identifying, accrediting, and developing clinical learning sitesto support physiotherapy students on clinical rotations;Coordinating and managing the training of undergraduate students at clinical training sites (rural and urban);-
- Serving as liaison between the clinical programme, faculty entities, Department of Health and clinical training facilities, as well as maintaining good-standingpartnerships.Service delivery:- Contributing to service delivery on the public health services platform.Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- Meestersgraad;
- Ervaring in openbare gesondheidsorg dienslewering;
- Vorige onderrig/onderrigbystand-ervaring;
- Minstens twee jaar kliniese toesig in gemeenskapsgebaseerde rehabilitasie;
- Rekord van toepaslike, gereelde en onlangse deelname aan Deurlopende Professionele Ontwikkeling (CPD);
- Geregistreer/registreerbaar by die Gesondheidsberoepsraad van Suid-Afrika as 'n Fisioterapeut.
- Masters degree;
- Experience in public health care service delivery;
- Teaching/teaching assistance experience;
- At least two years' clinical supervision in community-based rehabilitation;
- Record of appropriate, regular and recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD);
- Registered/ registrable with the Health Professional Council of South Africa as a Physiotherapist.
