**Requirements**:

- A relevant 3 year tertiary qualification, preferably a National

Diploma/B Com in Accounting/ Financial Management
- Up to 2 years working experience
- Computer literacy and knowledge of SAP finance modules

Key Performance Areas
- Assist in the management of expenditure against cost centres in

accordance with Council financial policies and procedures.
- Participate in the compilation of the annual operating & capital

budgets as well as the Adjustment budget process for Property
Transactions Department.
- Assisting in Collating budgets from the Branches in Property

Transactions into a budget report for Management Review to ensure
that these are submitted timeously to Corporate Finance
- Process corrective actions as requested by Manager for Property

Transactions which include capturing virements, journals and
reposting to ensure compliance.
- Verifying that the correct budget data is accurately reflected on

SAP for
- Property Transactions and highlighting any anomalies to the Support

Manager
- Attending to the creation of requisition orders and reservation

requests submitted by Branches in Property Transactions
- Following up with Branches to address Overdue Purchase Orders &
submit information for reporting
- Assist in the follow ups for all invoices on the Age Analysis Report for

Property Transactions
- Assisting with Revenue Management Support Functions i.e. Finance

Land Sale Processes
- Liaising with internal clients with regard to payments, registration

and refunds etc.
- Assisting with the implementation of Asset Management processes

within the Department
- Co-Ordinating and assisting in the asset verification process
