Reintegration Officer
**Requirements**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification
- Three (3) to four (4) years’ experience within the social or

community development context, preferably within the street
people sector
- Computer literacy in MS Office suite
- A valid Code EB driver’s licence
- Ability to do an extensive amount of walking whilst on duty and

assist with the physical aspects of moving people’s belonging.
- Note: The successful incumbent may be required to work outside

of normal working hours which may include weekends and public
holidays.
- Note: The successful incumbent will be required to work shifts and

work in extreme weather conditions.
Key Performance Areas
- Implement programmes and interventions aimed at people who

are homeless and living on the streets
- Assist with the collation of information and data relating to

individuals, families and groups of people living on the street
- Report on interactions, programmes and initiatives to monitor

progress to ensure the reintegration is successful and sustained
- Develop and maintain working relationships with all relevant

interested and affected parties at local level
- Responsible for the administration and related functions which

supports.
