**Job Purpose**:
Ensure integration of supply chain into the business of Cipla Medpro by end to end process management with a focus on supply, sales and profitability and Quality assurance of all existing products and services offered in order to meet legal compliance and quality standards.

As a Responsible Pharmacist - Ensure compliance and good practices throughout the business of pharmacy in order to abide by the statutory requirements of the Pharmacy Act related to Medicines and substances

**Accountabilities**:

- Oversee the regulatory compliance of the supply chain practices and processes in accordance with the prevailing statutory requirements
- Ensure right controls and ethical operation standards in order to ensure high levels of product and process integrity
- Manage the Quality Assurance of all products and services offered to customers in order to meet legal compliance and quality standards with regard to the warehouse and distribution activities
- Take decisions related to compliance and good practices throughout the business of pharmacy in order to abide by the statutory requirements of the Pharmacy Act and Health and Safety Act
- Manage operations for all existing products and services offered in order to assure quality and meet legal compliance and quality standard

**Education Qualification**:
B Pharm or equivalent is essential.

Must be registered with the South African Pharmacy Council

**Relevant Work Experience**:
Minimum 6+ years of experience in Supply Chain within the Pharma Industry with knowledge on industry regulations and framework

Good understanding of legislation and relevant acts to the business (MCC regulations, GMP, Pharmacopia, etc)
