Job title:
**Bid writer**

Purpose:
In this role, you will primarily be responsible for leading a bid writing process, responding to FCM global/multinational tenders throughout South Africa / MEA, as well as providing support to the other corporate brands falling under the _Flight Centre Travel Group_ brand.

This role will also see you responsible for** administering, updating and maintaining the **bid**/proposal database **for Flight Centre's corporate travel businesses, as well as working closely the Marketing Department to prepare bid collateral.

Primary duties and responsibilities (KRAs)
- Writing, collating, editing and producing bid responses for large market client opportunities as required;
- Contributing to an agreed style guide to provide a linguistic framework for responses to tenders and development of proposals;
- Working closely with the Global Bid Manager, local and regional Sales Leaders to create and manage timelines;
- Identifying new content that needs to be created and housed within RFPIO and facilitate its production;
- Ensuring existing library content is current and updated as required; and
- Ensuring the creative output is dynamic and within brand guidelines
- Manage complex communications with multiple deadlines

Qualifications in Communications, Public Relations,

**Experience**:

- 2 years bid management, request for proposal (RFP) processes
- Managing projects involving complex communications with multiple deadlines
- Microsoft Office Suite to format documents.
