Senior Technical Project Manager

**We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager with the ability to collaborate across all levels and multiple teams, to deliver business & technical projects in the Game Operations environment.** As a Senior Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of large sized, high complexity projects including technical; support/consultancy. Ensuring that we deliver on business objectives in the recommended timeframe & cost and with the appropriate quality is a key responsibility. You will be challenged every day with the variety projects that enter this space, engaging and communicating with a diverse range of stakeholders from a business and technical perspective. The analysis of what the business needs to deliver successfully on projects is something that will require your attention every day with a key focus on risks and issues. Planning the approach to your project will need to be clearly defined on how you will deliver project objectives within the defined timeframes and delivering this in an agile and well thought out manner. We are looking for an individual who will contribute to the further success of the team and add a new dimension to the environment as well as focus on continuous improvement and other efficiencies We see you nodding - so this is you, right? **Key Responsibilities**: - Define and deliver the business, system and technical requirements for multiple projects. - Have the ability to plan and define the approach and delivery of the project and monitor and track this delivery through the SDLC and lifetime of the project(initiation and planning). - Be able to elicit the requirements from stakeholders across various levels of the organization, engage professionally with a diverse number of stakeholders (IT and Business) - Implement the business processes and their associated changes across the organization and be able to measure whether the benefits of the project materialized. - Manage the scope, cost, quality and time of the project with key focus on dependencies, risks and issues. - Continuously look for process efficiencies and optimizations and implement these across the team and business area(continuous improvement). - Have the ability to manage end-to-end delivery of medium to large sized with medium to high complexity. - Provide a mentoring and coaching role to other colleagues in the organization. - Strategic Planning. - Benefits Realization. - People Management. - Executing, Monitoring and Controlling. - "Operationalize (Pre-Go Live, Go Live and Post Go Live)". - Project Closure. - Relevant tertiary qualification BSc/BCom / Business Diploma (3yrs) / Adv Management Diploma preferable. - Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent. - Excellent Communicator - written and verbal. - Be a Self-Starter, Self-managed with business and technical (IT) knowledge and understanding of the SDLC. - High attention to detail, maintain a standard of accuracy when document requirements Professional stakeholder engagement management and relationship building skills. - Agile experience an advantage. - Line and Performance Management an advantage. - Mentorship an advantage. - Coaching an advantage. - Facilitation an advantage. - Experience in the end-to-end delivery of large-sized, high complexity projects. - Minimum of 6 years of Project Management experience in a software or IT environment. - Expert knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or IT Delivery Cycle. - Expert knowledge of software or IT project management, MS Projects, JIRA / Work Items, MS Visio, BMC Software/ Confluence ( Advantageous). - Exposure to multiple PM Methodologies.
