Preparing and processing the monthly payroll
Preparing and processing of monthly supplier accruals
Preparing monthly variance reports
Preparing monthly balance sheet recon files
Preparing monthly management accounts
Ensuring accurate and timeous submission of statutory returns and payments to the tax authorities
Creditor management
Preparing tax files for audit
Overseeing the compilation of the financial statements and completion of the year-end audit
Ad hoc financial reviews / forecasts
Assisting with the continuous improvement of processes within all areas affecting the finance department
Assisting in the compilation of the annual budget
Managing of administration staff
**Qualifications and Experience**:
Financial university degree or equivalent qualification
Min 2 years financial experience (preferably in an accounting company)
Experience in using Pastel Accounting and Payroll system is essential
Experience with tax, VAT and submitting statutory returns is essential
