J**ob Opportunity: Aftercare Assistant at Leersame Lyfies**

Leersame Lyfies is looking for a dedicated and passionate **Aftercare Assistant** to join our team and work with our Grade R and Grade 1 learners.

**Hours**:
Monday to Friday, 13h00 - 16h00

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Organize and manage the aftercare program efficiently.
- Create and maintain a daily schedule for: Fetching learners from school and escorting learners to their extra murals.
- Supervise learners during mealtime and outdoor play, ensuring safety and good manners.
- Assist learners with changing into their regular clothes after school and ensuring school clothes are neatly packed in their bags.
- Coordinate with teachers to confirm that homework is completed before learners leave.

- Strong organizational skills to ensure smooth operations and transitions.
- A warm and approachable personality to create a nurturing aftercare environment.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience working with young children (advantageous).
- Ability to manage small groups effectively and maintain discipline while being compassionate.
- Good communication skills to liaise with teachers and parents.
