A vacancy exists for a **Stores Manager**for the Lounge Division Blackheath of Bravo Brands.

We are looking for a results driven Stores manager to oversee manage all the stores in the business.

**Qualifications required**
- Matric
- Relevant Stores Management or Supply Chain Qualification

**Experience required**
- Minimum 2 -5 years with proven stock manager experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience should be obtained in the manufacturing, têxtile, furniture or similar industries
- Relevant experience on Syspro advantageous

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitoring stock levels in all the stores and ensure stores controllers alert buyer to re-order when required
- Alert buyer to place orders to replenish merchandise as needed
- Develop stores operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization and inventory management
- Coordinate regular inventory audits
- Enter purchase details (vendors information
- Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory
- Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity and quality standards are met
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
- Liaising with buying department & follow up on orders.
- Ensure stores controllers practice accurate receiving & checking all deliveries.
- Efficient organization & issuing of raw materials to production.
- Ensure that the inventory system is updated at all times (Grv’s, issues, etc)
- Effective stock counts
- plan, prepare & carry out monthly stock counts & financial year end stock count.
- Oversee storage of products, particularly of fragile items
- Enforce 5S compliance
- Keep updated inventory records
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Participative and able to work as part of the team
- ADHOC duties required.
- Computer literacy
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Proactive, organised and able to multitask and work well under pressure
- Proficient knowledge of stores procedure and policy
- Ability to work with all levels of company staff
- Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback

Other requirements
- Computer Literate (Syspro experience advantageous)
- Excellent numerical skills
- Work overtime & weekends when required

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
