M24 Logistics, a division of the Takealot Group, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced **DC Production Controller** to join our Cape Town team. We are a renowned e-commerce logistics partner specialising in B2B and B2C warehousing and fulfilment solutions to the local and African markets.

This position will report to the **Operational DC Manager.**

**Role overview**

To enable the operations teams to plan accurately, perform optimally, and make informed decisions timeously.

**The requirements for the role are**:

- Relevant certificate in Quality Control, Warehouse Management, or Logistics, or
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a warehouse environment (preferably in a supervisory role).

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Plan, schedule, and oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and teams to meet production orders and deadlines.
- Monitor and manage production timelines to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring inventory counts align with operational requirements.
- Track and manage materials, identifying and resolving any discrepancies in inventory.
- Ensure warehouse operations adhere to company policies and industry safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain workplace safety and cleanliness.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing clear instructions and support.
- Train team members in production processes and the proper use of tools and equipment.
- Maintain comprehensive records of daily production activities and performance metrics.
- Generate and analyze reports to identify areas for improvement and implement impactful solutions.

**The required competencies are**:

- Solid understanding of warehouse operations and production management processes.
- Proficient in inventory management systems and general computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
