**Responsibilities**: - answering calls and liaising with clients competently, - preliminary drafting of correspondence on the developer's behalf, - delegating work in the developer's absence, - diary management, - planning and organising meetings, - organising complex travel, - taking action points and writing minutes, - preparing documents for meetings, - taking dictation and typing, - planning and organising events, - improving protocols and policy systems, - conducting research, - preparing presentations, - managing and reviewing filing and office systems, - sourcing and ordering office or other equipment, - managing ad hoc projects - Communication skills, adapt to any situation and ensure management informed in a timely manner, disseminate and absorb communication where possible. - Interpersonal skills, from secretarial duties to personal life, easily interact with a large range of people to support a variety of situations, to be discrete and confidential. - Time management skills, including the ability to organize and plan, ensuring smartly divided time between specific activities: must be efficient and have time management skills, meet prescribed timelines/deadlines. - Strong organizational skills, adaptability to be able to adjust schedules according to shifting business priorities, to organize the perfect filing systems, databases, and templates. - Attention to detail, plan all aspects of any project or task, in conjunction with experts, understand how to prioritize and deprioritize. **Qualifications and Experience**: - Microsoft Office, Google Suite - basic IT literacy, advanced-level skills in Word for Windows and Microsoft PowerPoint, an intermediate-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel. - PA refresher training and Advanced-level PA training certificates may be considered - Proficient in English and preferably must understand Afrikaans - must be willing to learn and work (with assistance) in the current 3 legislations (South Africa, Namibia and UK) - must be a practical experience and focus on cost saving - must be able to learn the developers personality and working style - must understand legal and financial agreements, including (Pty) Ltds, CCs and Trusts - must be able to support the businesss objectives and goals understand the "big picture" - must have the ability to work remotely and independently - must be willing to travel There are a lot of new challenges especially with regards to Tourism, further developments, property management and possible international Donor opportunities which we are looking forward to commence shortly.
