An exciting client of ours in the transport tracking space, is currently seeking an Account Executive to join their team. The main purpose of this position is to manage full sales from inception to close, to drive new business and bring in new sales and serve as the voice of customers to bring back feedback on the product. It is a remote position based out of South Africa, working with the US market.
**Responsibilities**:
- Win new business, managing full sales cycle from inception to close.
- Establish lasting relationships with senior executives and decision-makers within your prospect patch.
- Help educate customers on the value of our offering to drive better outcomes for their business.
- Drive new business funnel through proactive outreach to key prospect accounts.
- Manage sales through to close with accurate forecasting and reporting in CRM.
- Collaborate with cross functional team (product, customer success, leadership, marketing etc.) to support initiatives driving revenue and product goals.
- Participate in sales learning and development initiatives.
- Prepare and educate customers on new features and releases.
- Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas including product.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum two years sales experience, preferably more.
- Existing SaaS sales experience.
- Sales experience. Inbound or outbound, or a mix.
- Previous experience in a high sales velocity environment.
- Hustle type personality, grade A and solution orientated.
- Experience in any one of the following sectors: Logistics, Transport, Health, Education, IT and Technology.
- Track record of new business acquisition.
- Experience managing a pipeline with forecasting accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills both with customers and within an organization.
- Proven negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to develop senior level relationships quickly and effectively.
- Experience presenting to senior managers.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously at various stages of the buying process.
