**Descriptions**:
- Coordinate health and safety processes and compliance activities in a manner consistent with corporate policies and regulatory laws.
- Responsible for risk management and environmental programs.
- Active leadership of safety program to promote safety, health, and industrial hygiene awareness.
- Provide leadership and set example for safe work behaviors.
- On-going coordination of safety communications, meetings, and awareness activities.
- Provide guidance and act as a resource to supervision and management on safety and health related issues.
- Track new regulations and implement compliance plan.
- Conduct regular employee training on OSHA regulations and safe work behaviors.
- Conduct safety induction training for new employees, temporaries, and contractors.
- Maintain training records for regulatory compliance.
- Responsible for the communication and maintenance of all safety procedures.
- Lead emergency response team, emergency plan, employee training, and facility evacuation drills.
- Conduct monthly departmental audits of facilities and equipment for compliance purposes
- Conduct safety audits at customer’s sites where JBT employees perform work
- Prepare safety files for offsite work
- Review safety files of contractors working at JBT’s sites
- Respond to customer request on OSHA compliance issues within 48 hours.
- Maintain all safety, health and industrial hygiene filing on a weekly basis.
- Complete monthly safe work hours and incident report.
- Maintain database of all workplace safety incidents, conduct trend analysis and develop improvement plan.
- Prepare and implement annual safety action plan to promote proactive safety program and continuous performance improvement.
- Maintain annual plan for facility industrial hygiene program according to JBT guidelines and with assistance of outside service provider.
- Ensure health monitoring is completed in accordance with appliable legislation
- Conduct annual assessment and inspections of personal protective equipment for all operations and certify compliance.
- Ensure quality incident investigations and corrective actions are completed for all work-related incidents and incidents are reported timeously to RMA.
- Complete annual summary of occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Manage MSDS inventory to ensure comprehensive for all chemical products and available in work area and master files.
- Provide annual employee training on all chemical products utilized and associated health hazards.
- Maintain chemical inventory for all products used and annual throughput quantity.
- Ensure MSDS files are maintained
- Direct environmental work activities to ensure compliance to all applicable legislation
- Completion of all regulatory reporting requirements, as applicable.
- Track new regulations and assess impact to operations
**Qualifications**:
- Formal HSE qualification (Diploma or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years experience in production environment
- Experience in PetroChemical and / or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge Word, Excel, Outlook & Powerpoint
