Piping/welding Supervisor

Our client is looking for Piping/Welding Supervisors in Capetown with at least 5 years experience to test for the annual Sasol Shutdown in Secunda.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Coordinates dismantling, moving and setting up

equipment at the new work site
- Ensure that welding is done according to customer

specifications and that all processes are recorded

heat treatment as per the required contract

code
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise maintenance

team members and contractors
- Complete X-ray requests and challenge X-ray results
- Ensure adherence to the OHSAct in the area of

responsibility
- Offer supervision of all construction work

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must possess relevant qualification
- Welding Supervision course certification
- Knowledge of Sasol procedures
- Must be able to read ISO drawings and welding

symbols
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience in the petrochemical industry
- Physically fit to work
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to communicate in English
