Social Media and Copywriting Intern

Providence Hospitality is looking for an innovative social media and copywriting Intern to join our fast-growing team. You will be responsible for the marketing of various hotels, guest houses and hospitality brands on applicable social media platforms. You will also be given the opportunity to write website content, blog posts and special offer content for these properties.

**Key performance areas**:
Assistance in content management of social media channels specifically Facebook Business, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content structure and develop.
Manage Social Media channels with regular updates as well as paid advertising oversight.
Research industry-related topics to ensure content is relevant to current trends and target audiences.
Write clear marketing copy to promote various offers.
Generate, edit, proofread, and improve current and future content.
Understand the mechanics of a variety of social media platforms: Facebook and Instagram primarily and also LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.

**Qualifications and experience**:
Experience in social media and content creation (links to current personal and professional platforms will be requested).
Experience within tourism, travel and hospitality industries will be advantageous.

**Competencies required**:
Ability to multi-task and be proactive.
Team player - Work closely with marketing manager, social media manager, graphic designer, web developer as well as operation teams.
Exceptional writing ability and attention to detail.
High level of creativity and attention to detail.
Knowledge of Cloud Campaign, Adobe Illustrator or other design software, SEO, Google Analytics and PPC abilities will be advantageous.
