Medical Aid rate based on principal member only) - To be confirmed - Advert Closing Date - 28/9/2025 - Job Purpose The setup, configuration and operation of audio-visual systems for CPUT events and venues. - Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience Matric with a minimum of 2-years’ audio-visual technician experience working in the technical event industry with particular experience in the setup, operation, configuration and troubleshooting of audio, lighting and video systems for events. - Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities - Setup, configuration and Operation of audio-visual equipment (sound, lighting and projection), cameras, vision mixers and livestreaming encoders. - Basic maintenance and repairs of audio-visual equipment - Equipment inventory control and storeroom management, equipment condition reporting - Equipment needs and booking trends identification - Scheduling of jobs and duties - Competencies - Knowledge of audio-visual systems - Good organizational skills - Accuracy and attention to detail - Ability to work as part of a team and independently in a high-pressure environment - The ability to take briefs from client departments and translate these briefs into technical requirements - Working knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Sony video cameras or Adobe Premiere - Working knowledge of lighting software programming - Knowledge of Setting up and operation of live video streaming equipment - Customer Focus - General Information Closing date: 28 September 2025 NB: PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SYSTEM DOES NOT ALLOW APPLICANTS TO UPLOAD CVs.
