- Tasks and responsibilities
- Functional
- Maintain the relationship to existing customers while generating new leads and sales opportunities
- Provide technical support and trainings to sales partners, customers, Fronius System Partners (FSP), installers and project partners in Southern Africa
- Conduct regular visits to installers/EPCs to provide information and updates on products, give presentations and conduct technical training
- Provide on-site service and support for the commissioning of PV systems
- Support installers and sales partners in case of product failure on-site
- Participate in sales exhibitions and/ or trade fairs
- Keep up-to-date regarding the solar markets (e.g. business and political developments, competitors, regional legislations, etc.)
- Support marketing and PR activities
- Run regular webinars/presentations to provide product information and updates to partners and customers
- You will report directly to the responsible Export Sales Manager for the region.
- Skills & Requirements
- Professional
- Knowledge and experience with electronics
- Experience in sales of technical products
- Knowledge of PV systems and credentials to install and service them
- Knowledge of renewable energy and/or photovoltaics is beneficial
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Personal
- Dedication and flexibility
- Willingness to travel extensively in Southern African Region
- Reliability and ability to work independently
- Language
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Further languages are advantageous
