Retirement Fund Specialist

Cape Town, South Africa PPS Group Full time

**Main duties & responsibilities**:
1. Interacting with retirement fund Principal Officer and Trustees in order to
- investigate and manage death claims end to end,
- make recommendations to trustees in line with various legislative and business requirements,
- facilitate Section 14 transfers

2. Liaising with Beneficiaries, executors, and other 3rd party stakeholders to facilitate completion of instructions

3. Ensuring all incoming work is processed within required turnaround times and before relevant cut offs.

4. Ensure completeness and accuracy of instruction

5. Support team members and Team Leader

6. Attend to queries

7. Maintain records of all interactions on CRM system

8. Ad hoc duties as may be required from time to time

**Ideal experience**:
1. Retirement fund administration experience (death claims, section 14 transfers)

2. Platform administration experience (Linked investment products, Retirement Funds, Living Annuities and Endowments)

3. Worked with Principal Officer and Trustees of Retirement Funds

**Ideal qualifications**:
1. Relevant Bachelor’s degree is essential

4. Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
