Superintendent (Boilermaker)
**Requirements**:

- Trade Test certificate as a Boilermaker.
- 5 Years or more post apprenticeship experience related to below

KPA’s.
- Supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Computer Literacy (MS Office and SAP).
- Valid Code C or EC driver’s Licence.

Key Performance Areas
- Schedule vehicle and plant maintenance work.
- Evaluating technical condition of assets to be repaired or

maintained and prepare cost estimates.
- Evaluate annual workshop operation resource requirements.
- Co-ordinate the implementation of mechanical repairs,

maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Participating operational meetings and presenting maintenance

and repair activities including related costs.
- Maintenance and monitoring of vehicles permanently allocated to

the operations in terms of service level agreements.
- Identify deviations and institute remedial action.
- Staff Management.
- Administering the relevant service level agreements between

workshop and its stakeholders.
- Maintaining applicable safety standards and records within EAM

workshop.
- Ensuring vehicle compliance to the Road Traffic Act where

applicable.
**PLEASE NOTE**: THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO
WORK OUTSIDE NORMAL WORKING HOURS, DURING EMERGENCIES
AND PLANNED OVERTIME. BE ON STANDBY. WORK IN ALL WEATHER
CONDITIONS.
