The purpose of this role is to facilitate maintenance planning by updating records and work systems and to create daily purchase requisitions for machine spares and services for Engineering Department

**Key Responsibilities**

**Safety, Food & sustainability**
- Compliance with legal and procedures in the area of health, safety and the environment.
- Ensures all execution of technical work is carried out in a safe way.
- Ensuring all safety rules and safe work procedures are followed by him/herself and by others working in and around the work area.
- Reports Near Misses, Unsafe conditions and unsafe behaviours observed within and outside work area.
- Participation in periodic hazards identification and detailed risk assessment in work area as applicable.
- Participation in safety events (incidents, accidents etc.) investigation in work area.

**Purchase requisition, quotations and order management**
- Create daily purchase requisitions for machine spares and services for Engineering Department
- Create purchase requisitions for annual machines overhauls
- Work with Maintenance Planners to source alternative quotes for machine spares
- Do service entries for Engineering Department
- Work together with the stores for GRV's co-ordination
- Compile monthly SLA reports
- Liaise with suppliers for regarding SLA queries
- Capture SLA's service entries
- Manage the open PO report
- Expedite urgent PO's
- Attend to supplier queries related to Engineering Department
- Ensure that supplier invoices match POD's and quotes

**Organization, Interfaces & People Management**
- Reports to the Maintenance manager
- Coordinates and cooperates with the Maintenance planners, Maintenance Team Leaders, Maintenance Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, Spare Parts Clerks and Spare Parts Supervisor.
- Align with the work planned, e.g. overhauls/shutdowns and PM’s
- Link between Engineering, Procurement and Finance

**Information & Data Management**
- Identifies & codes of spares according to proper asset structure in SAP.
- Uses the spare segmentation data inconjuction with SPC and ensures it is up to date.

**TPM & Continuous Improvement**
- Be involved in all TPM processes where/if required for engineering department

**Qualifications & Experince**
- Matric and/or minimum N3 in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 2 to 3 years engineering, bottling or technical environment
- SAP PM experience
- SAP Procurement experience
- MS office package experience
