We are recruiting for a **Food Technician/Quality & Food Safety Manager.**

Will be responsible for the day to day management of the Company Food Safety and Quality Assurance system and staff as well as the SHEQ team to support production in the factory and compliance of all quality and safety policies and procedures.

**Desired experience and qualifications**:

- Matric Food Safety Quality Control/ Assurance Certification
- Diploma or equivalent
- ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 22000 (Food) Systems knowledge a
- +-5 years experience

**Duties**:

- Coordinating new Product trials Managing FSA and ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 22000 (Food) Systems
- Handling customer complaints
- Monthly reports tracking of customer complaints trending year on year Training and awareness of the Quality and food Safety Systems
- Optimizing costs within the department
- Facilitating leave and disciplinary functions for departmental employees
- Analysis of quality returns SPC analysis Internal and external audit participation Selection of raw material suppliers
- Quarterly Supplier meetings to rate service and quality provided to the business
