**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provides coaching to trainee protégés and ensures that their morale and development needs are responded to in a timeous manner
- Attending training, CSI and social events
- Attending manager and audit committee meetings
- Preparing detailed zero-based budgets for audit engagements and planning audit teams on GreatSoft accordingly
- Providing on-the-job training to audit teams
- Performing audit fieldwork as required
- Performing regular and effective progress check-ins with audit teams and clients ensuring that delayed items and issues are resolved and actioned until the file is lock down ready
- Reviewing audit work and incorporating quality findings from recent internal reviews, IRBA inspection reports, review guidance’s and quality policies issued by the firm
- Producing reports that are clear, concise and error free
- Finalising and proposing audit opinions
- Maintaining effective client relations and responding to client queries and requests timeously
- Engaging with clients for the completion of client satisfaction surveys
- Monitoring and analysing budget vs actual time on audits weekly and communicating this analysis to audit manager and/or partner along with forecasted costs
- Preparing audit files for lockdown within the lockdown timeline
- Reviewing and providing feedback on TSRs, PSRs and job evaluation forms for audit team members
- Maintaining technical knowledge by staying up to date with all new and updated standards, legislations and regulations
- Completing weekly timesheets

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Successful completion of articles
- Honours Degree / Postgraduate Diploma (ITC/APC level)
- Proficiency in Caseware and Microsoft products
- Proficiency in IFRS, IFRS for SMEs and ISAs
- Proactive and productive in high pressure environments
- Excellent writing, reporting, planning and organising skills
- Ability to complete an entire audit file and to delegate and follow-up on tasks until the lock down of the audit file
- Ability and willingness to actively coach, supervise and train staff both on-the-job and in coaching teams
