**1 X STRETCHER OPERATOR**

**The requirements are as follows**:

- Minimum qualification of Grade 12
- Vocational training is an added advantage
- Knowledge of Alnet’s process, Raschel product knowledge is essential
- Warping experience is essential
- Ability to operate and control machinery is essential
- Standing in experience as a Stretcher Operator is an added advantage
- Must be able to work shifts and overtime when required
- Good numeric and literacy skills
- Manual dexterity
- Must be punctual, self motivated and willing to learn
- Ability to read, write and speak English and other South African languages
- Ability to follow set of procedures and routines
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to maintain enthusiasm while conducting repetitive work
- Ability to prioritise work, work under pressure and manage deadly
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Operate and maintain Stretching machines according to the cleaning and maintenance schedule
- Execute production orders in compliance with order specifications and quality standards
- Conduct machine pre-start up checks
- Monitor and patrol Stretcher machines
- Set up the film onto the Stretching machine
- Thread the Stretcher with the monofilm
- Load empty beams, remove full beams from the machine and weigh beams
- Prepare and conduct changeovers
- Report faulty and damaged equipment and machines to the Supervisor
- Constantly check on production of machine and the quality of products
- Abide and enforce all safety practices, procedures, and precautions
- Ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the Raschel department
