**Accountant/Bookkeeper (Real Estate Letting Agency)**

**Job overview**:
A leading Real Estate Agency based in JHB South is hiring a full-time Bookkeeper to join their team.

- Fluent in written and spoken English (as well as highly competent in report writing).
- Available immediately (preferred).

**Conditions**:

- WORKING HOURS: 08:00 - 17:00 (Extra hours when the need arises)
- STARTING DATE: As soon as possible
- BASIC SALARY: ± R18 000-00 - R22 000-00 PM
- EXPERIENCE: 5 Years' relevant experience within the industry of realty and letting (non-negotiable)
- TRAVELING: No
- OWN TRANSPORT: Required

**Essential duties and responsibilities**:

- Exercising quality control/checks and generating reports accordingly.
- Resolving clashes with other departments within the business as and when required.
- Generating and managing of monthly/daily/weekly accounts and reports.
- Capturing of all financial information.
- Must have management account experience.

**Education and work experience requirements**:

- Matric and a relevant certificate, diploma or degree required in bookkeeping or accounting. (Please attach copies of your matric certificate and tertiary qualification.)
- 5 Years' relevant experience within the industry of realty and letting (non-negotiable).
- SAICA registration preferred. (Please attach proof of registration.)
- Managerial and administrative experience.
- Valid driver’s license and own transport.
- Strong bookkeeping background.
- Computer literate. (Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, MDA or MRI Software.) (Please specify computer literacy on your CV.)
- A complete copy of your CV, outlining your relevant qualifications and work experience.
- A copy of your matric certificate.
- A copy of your bookkeeping or accounting certificate, diploma, or degree.
- At least two contactable references.
