**Job Purpose**:
To ensure all food safety standards, practices, and protocols are consistently followed and maintained across operations. This role is critical in preventing foodborne illnesses, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of food safety within the organization.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with food safety regulations (e.g. HACCP, FSMA, FDA, USDA, local health codes).
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes.
- Maintain and update food safety documentation and records, including corrective action reports.
- Provide training and education to staff on food safety protocols and best practices.
- Investigate and respond to food safety incidents, complaints, and product recalls.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure end-to-end food safety.
- Stay up to date with new regulations, industry trends, and emerging risks.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, Public Health, or a related field.
- Certification in food safety (e.g. HACCP, ServSafe, PCQI).
- 2+ years of experience in a food safety, quality assurance, or compliance role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and train others effectively.
- Familiarity with audit processes and documentation.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in [specific industry, e.g., food manufacturing, food service, retail].
- Knowledge of ISO 22000 or other food safety management systems.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities for diverse workforce training.

**Working Conditions**:

- May require working in cold/hot/wet environments.
- Willing to Travel to Mobeni for the first 3 Months

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to R40 000,00 per month
