**Requirements**:

- National Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Registration as (Pr Techni Eng)
- 5-8 years’ experience relating to: Sewer Design; Construction

Site Experience; Trenchless Technologies; Project Management;
Financial Management; Sewer Services infrastructure operations
and maintenance; knowledge of legislative procedures; Technical
knowledge of the provision of Sanitation
- Computer Literacy: MS Office including MS Project
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/GIS
- Knowledge of engineering principles related to sewer services
- Valid code B/EB driver’s license.
- Incumbent will be required to work independently with limited

supervision
Key Performance Areas
- Assist with the development facilitation function in the area
- Implement maintenance/replacement and capital projects
- Assist with the effective conveyance of sewage
- Liaise with internal and external providers
- Oversee construction and operations to ensure compliance

with design and tender specifications
- Manage/prepare plans, designs, drawings, maps and charts

of the Branch
- Ensure that all Quality Management processes of the Branch

are adhered to during the entire lifecycle of Project
implementation.
- Ensure proper performance management activities in

compliance with corporate contract management system and
Contract Management Framework.
- Support depots with the operation and maintenance of the

sewer networks
- Guiding and assisting Operations on dispute resolution issues

arising from procurement contracts.
- Providing developers and consultants with services

information and understanding the way leaves process
