**Duties**
- Independently determine appropriate asset values in respect of residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial
- Advise and evaluate properties that company departments/units will
- Determine market and forced sales value of
- Evaluate the condition and value of
- Provide project management support/advice for construction development loans funded by business
- Coordinate and control valuation
- Review and ensure accuracy, validity and reliability of external valuations performed by external service providers and provide
- Recommend best methods to dispose of
- Provide expert advice on disposal by private sale, formal/informal tender, or auction
- Ensure compliance with governance in terms of legislative and audit
- Monitor and manage all aspects relating to security revaluations of existing
- Maintain a detailed register of
- Submit the valuation report with values for approval to management.
- Maintain accurate valuation
- Conduct industry related research and development on an ongoing basis to identify latest market trends within the property

**Minimum Requirement**:

- Bachelors Degree in Property Studies/Real Estate or
- Eight (8) years experience in Property Valuation for different types of
- Must be registered with the South African Council of Property Valuers Profession (SACPVP) as a Professional Value/ Professional Associate
- Member of the South African Institute of Valuers (SAIV) would be
- Valid Drivers Licence and own transport is
- Computer Literacy (MS Office).
- Sound knowledge of valuation
- Knowledge of Principles of Property Law and Law in Valuation
- Knowledge of specialised
- Knowledge of Bill of
- Understanding of legislation regarding built
- Understanding of IFRS
