**Main purpose of the job**

To manage employees in a specific team, ensure that work is completed efficiently and reviewed, and discussed with directors prior to being finalised.

**Knowledge**
- Matric
- SAIPA articles Completed
- SAIPA Qualification
- Computer Literate (MS Office)
- BComm Accounting or similar
- Caseware
- SAGE
- Strong technical knowledge
- Keeping abreast of changing legislation

**Experience**
- 2 - 3 years experience in a similar type industry

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform reviews on work that has been completed by clerks
- Ensure changes to work have been effected
- Drawing up financial statements
- Statutory returns; including VAT, PAYE, UIF
- Ensure files are finalised according to company standards
- Perform reviews on work that has been completed by clerks
- Ensure clerks carry out work efficiently and effectively
- Responsible for staff development, training and coaching
- Ensure correct training/planning
- Perform evaluations on clerks performance
- Ensure timesheets are completed timeously
- Ensure that jobs completed have been invoiced
- Key performance indicators
