**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Execute delivery plans / Achieve distribution standards.
- Control shortages / Optimise customer service.
- Control budgets / Process immediate invoices.
- Optimise distribution performance / Maintain safe, healthy and risk-free working environment.
- Manage human resources / Optimise team performance.
- Work in teams / Manage owner drivers / Perform administrative duties
- The need to comply with changes in transport legislation.
- Increased competition, changes in technology and the drive to minimise costs will require a change in the way the Company goes to market.
- Changes in technology will result in more highly skilled employees in less quantities.
- Commitment to the quality system and the values and ethics policy will help the strive towards.

**REQUIRED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES**:

- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated with high energy levels.
- Dynamic and highly motivated.
- Sound negotiation skills.
- Sound business acumen.
- Initiative and drive /Strong analytical and organisational skills.

**REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE**
- B Comm. Degree/Diploma or equivalent recognised qualification in transport/Logistics or Supply Chain related.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
- At least ten years’ experience in an Operations or Warehousing environment.
- Good understanding of Road Transport and related legislation and safety.
- Understanding and knowledge of world class distribution systems is advantageous.

- Secunda, Mpumalanga: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
