Live-in Caregiver

Golden Home Care are looking for Live-In / Companion Carers in the Southern suburbs of Cape Town and surrounding areas to join the team.

**Requirements**:

- Essential Valid Code 08/B Driving Licence
- Experience driving an automatic vehicle
- Health Care Training Certificates
- ID/Passport
- Must have minimum 2 years experience, with an added advantage of Dementia experience

Duties include:

- Ensuring that Clients receive the highest quality of care
- Providing support with household tasks such as general tidying, dusting and making beds
- Prepare light meals according to the Client's preference
- Manage Clients medication which includes ordering and collecting medication as well as prompting medication
- Escort and drive Clients to go shopping, run errands, to see their friends and other social activities
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion

Skills and Attributes - Strong interpersonal skills, professional communication, ability to work under pressure, fluent in English, proactive, organisational skills, be able to converse with people on different levels. The incumbent should be mature, well presented and professional.

Working Hours : Live
- in (Monday - Sunday), Working on a rotation of 1 week on, 1 week off.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: R400,00 - R430,00 per day
