- Technical
**Requirements**:

- Degree or three-year Diploma in Geomatics
- Five (5) years’ relevant experience
- Working knowledge of land use and planning processes and

practice
- Knowledge of local government related legislation and policies
- In depth knowledge in research of cadastral information and deeds

- Advanced computer literacy
- Verbal and report writing skills
- Driver’s licence and a personal vehicle is a requirement.

**SPECIAL CONDITIONS TO THE POST**:

- Must have a valid driver’s licence
- Willing to enter high risk areas
- Available to be called upon in case of emergencies
- Ability to display tact under pressure
- Good verbal, public relations and conflict resolution skills
- Capable to conduct field work.

- Oversee and execute the technical function relating to

stakeholders
- Oversee the updating of property data by providing property data

management reports, facilitate management decision-making
- Lead, guide and mentor staff in the technical section
