The Executive Corporate Services is a strategic leader responsible for managing and optimising the operations of key departments, including Administrative Support, Cost Management, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), IT, Strategy, and Innovation. This role ensures alignment with organisational goals and drives the execution of projects and initiatives to enhance efficiency, innovation, and overall performance.
**Strategic Planning and Thought Leadership**
Support the CEO with the collaborative development and execution of AAS strategy that will enable the organisation to realise its vision and mission.
Facilitate collaboration across departments to ensure cohesive strategy implementation.
Analyse internal and external environments to identify opportunities and threats.
Oversee the development KPIs and metrics to measure the success of the strategy.
Regularly analyse the outcomes of the Theory of Change and report on progress.
**Administrative Support**
Drive operational efficiency by implementing best practices and optimising workflows.
Oversee the Administrative Support team to ensure effective office management,, and procurement of office resources.
Ensure compliance with the Foundation’s policies and procedures across all departments.
**Procurement**
Develop procurement strategies that are inventive, innovative and cost-effective.
Re-design, refine and implement procurement policies, processes and related controls.
Promote and oversee the use of best costing and reporting systems and practices.
Oversee and manage the Foundation’s procurement processes to optimise quality, cost, and timely delivery of products.
Develop and maintain a supplier database
Provide leadership and guidance to the Quantity Surveyor Manager in overseeing project cost estimation, budget management, and risk assessments.
Ensure alignment with best practices of cost estimates in the market.
Promote and oversee the use of best costing and reporting systems and practice.
Collaborate with the Executive for Programmes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
**Monitoring and Evaluation**
Oversee the tracking of the Foundation’s performance and assessing the impact of programs and initiatives.
Ensure data-driven decision-making through the development of robust monitoring systems and frameworks.
Support the preparation and dissemination of evaluation reports to key stakeholders.
Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive M&E frameworks that align with the organisation's mission and objectives.
Communicate M&E findings to EXCO to inform strategic decisions.
Collaborate with EXCO to integrate M&E insights into program design and implementation.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within AAS.
**IT**
Lead the IT department in developing and maintaining the Foundation’s technology infrastructure and systems.
Ensuring value for money, performance and delivery from external partners and service providers.
Ensure the implementation of innovative IT solutions to enhance operational efficiency and digital transformation.
Oversee cybersecurity measures and compliance with data protection regulations.
Supporting and delivering the IT Strategy and implementation.
**People Management**
Manage the performance of team members and conduct performance reviews.
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of Managers and staff members.
Support the development and career growth of employees.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Develop succession plans for the mission of critical roles.
Promote the Foundation’s values.
**Financial Management**
Oversee budgets for all departments within Corporate Services.
Ensure cost-effective allocation of resources and monitor expenditure to achieve financial objectives.
**Risk Management and Compliance**
Identify and mitigate risks across all areas under Corporate Services.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and Foundation’s requirements.
Maintain high standards of governance and ethical practices.
**Reporting**
Provide regular updates to the CEO on challenges, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Develop and deliver presentations on strategic initiatives and operational performance.
**Education Skills and Experience**
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in corporate services, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven experience managing diverse teams and departments, such as administration, IT, strategy, and project management.
Strong background in strategic planning, operational management, and innovation.
Excellent knowledge of the NPO industry
