**Well established, Global, Special Lubricants and Allied Chemical Products provider, has a position available for a Development Chemist. B.Sc Chemistry and 5-10 years' experience in development/formulating, ideally in industrial formulation development. Based in Gauteng, Sandton region.**

**Requirements**:

- ND, BSc Chemistry (minimum), B.Sc Honours (Chemistry) preferred.
- Experience in industrial formulation development (Lubricants/adhesives/sealants/Automotive/Paint/Household).
- Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in development/formulating (not just QC or basic analytical lab skills).
- Be able to run with development projects (independent).
- Be able to research using the internet and whatever other resources.
- Needs to have the attitude of looking for information and making deductions based on for e.g. competitor data sheets, MSDS’s etc.
- Advanced communication skills
- MS Office
- Pro-active, go-getter, achiever
