Job Title: Student Accounts Administrator

Reports to: Finance Manager

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Payment Tracking: Monitor and record all incoming monthly student payments from various channels.
- Data Entry: Accurately capture and enter payment data into our financial systems.
- Payment Allocation: Allocate each payment to the corresponding student's account, ensuring all records are balanced.
- Liaison: Communicate effectively with facilitators to obtain proof of payment documentation from students in a timely manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and accessible records of all payment transactions and supporting documentation.
- Reconciliation: Assist with monthly reconciliations of student accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Reporting: Generate reports on payment statuses, outstanding balances, and other relevant metrics as required by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

- A minimum of a grade 12 or equivalent. A certificate or diploma in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field would be an advantage.
- Proven experience in a data entry or financial administration role.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal teams.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and integrity.

Desired:

- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, or similar).

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: R3 500,00 - R4 900,00 per month
