- Planning and managing of total operation including production.
- Plan the overall production process in all the production/testing operations to ensure optimized production.
- Plan, develop and implement strategy for operational production efficiency so as to meet agreed organizational performance.
- Control the planning and organization of the production process and ensure availability of necessary material, equipment, and labor resources required for production.
- Ensure production complies with established quality control specifications and standards.
- Implementation or improvement of operations procedures and systems
- Analyze and provide solutions to manufacturing/ production challenges or problems
- Good liaison with the Production, Quality, Sales and Design departments.
- Manage and develop direct reporting staff
- Ensure that HR policies and procedures, discipline are adhered to throughout the organization
- Ensure compliance to ISO and SHEQ standards
- Ensures targets are met by optimizing the resources and assets
- Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team
- Weekly production planning meetings, feedback meetings, demonstrating improvements in efficiency, productivity and profitability
- Responsible for opening and closing, security as well as housekeeping of the factory
- Managing all disciplinary procedures and policies in the operation
- Maintenance and service of plant and equipment

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Diploma in Production/Operations Management in the electric/electronic jobbing manufacturing environment
- Diploma in electrical/electronic engineering
- low voltage
- A Minimum of 5 years’ experience in production environment, adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- 5 years’ experience in a managerial role
- Syspro competence
- Computer literate using office packages (Ms word, MS Excel, MS Projects)
- Conduct any reasonable tasks as and when required
- Knowledge and understanding of HR processes
- Perform quality controls and monitor production KPI’s
