We are currently seeking a Procurement Administration Specialist to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of procurement policies and procedures, this role is perfect for you.
**Responsibilities**:
- Accurately review submitted documents in support of purchase order requests.
- Identify and address errors, deviations, or non-conforming submissions in a clear and detailed manner.
- Generate purchase orders using Pastel Evolution software, ensuring correct allocation of project codes and cost codes.
- Process details from received quotations, accurately capturing information in the purchase order system.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure correct allocation of codes and resolve any issues.
- Amend purchase orders when variations or supplier reallocation is required.
- Maintain supplier documentation on file, both electronically and in hard copy.
- Contribute suggestions and ideas to improve efficiency and streamline procurement administration processes.
- Work collaboratively in a team, supporting other procurement administration staff with tasks.
- Practice good timekeeping, being punctual, consistent, and focused.
**Requirements**:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar procurement administration role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, clerical work, and administrative procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Pastel Evolution software.
