**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Grade 12 Certificate
- BCom Financial degree or Diploma
- 3 years’ experience as an accountant
- Hospital experience will be advantage

**MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS**
- Oversee / supervise the Bookkeeper (Creditors), Admission team leaders and Debtors clerk;
- Follow up on overdue medical aid debtors;
- Oversee cash book processing. Review and approve the monthly bank reconciliation
- Oversee daily banking process
- Oversee placing of orders process;
- Oversee that sundry debtors (staff pharmacy accounts, Dr Accounts, rentals) are captured into pastel and follow up on overdue accounts
- Responsible for Hospital creditors reviewing and approval for payment
- Oversee Pharmacy creditor reconciliation process and ensure it is ready for payment timeous
- Oversee that all pharmacy creditors agree to supplier statements
- Load up payments into Nedbank
- Prepare monthly revenue journal from the Delta 9 system (HIS) and capture it into Pastel
- Run the month end on the Delta 9 system monthly
- Process Fixed Asset register and depreciation monthly
- Ensure Intercompany loan accounts balance every month;
- Process all the pre-payments monthly
- Make monthly provisions
- Assist the Hospital Manager in any financial related matters;
- Assist auditors on an annual basis
- Reconcile balance sheet control accounts on a monthly basis;
- Ensure the admission rostering is done
- Implement best practice for admitting patients and ensure policies are adhered to
- Weekly reporting
- Liaise with Doctors on admission requirements
- Manage and maintain Delta 9 System
