**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate assigned vehicle(s) in compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport goods or passengers to designated locations according to schedules or instructions.
- Load and unload goods.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of passengers and goods.
- Communicate effectively with manager or passengers as necessary.
- Adhere to delivery schedules and deadlines for timely arrivals.
- Handle unforeseen situations such as traffic delays, accidents, or vehicle breakdowns.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Keep vehicles clean and presentable both inside and out.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation and safety.
- Stay updated on traffic regulations and route changes.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or violations to appropriate authorities or supervisors.
- Attend training sessions or workshops to improve driving skills and knowledge.

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Valid driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle(s) to be operated.
- Clean driving record with no history of accidents or violations.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws, routes, and geography.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift and move heavy objects if necessary.
- Excellent driving skills and a demonstrated commitment to safety.
- Customer service-oriented attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle repairs or maintenance.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure or in emergency situations.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems or mapping apps.
- Willingness to undergo drug tests or background checks as required by employers.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Previous experience as a professional driver preferred but not required.
