- **Job description**The incumbent will report to the Academic Leader Discipline: Mechanical Engineering.

**Minimum requirements** A BSc Engineering or B. Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering
- A Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a particular focus in Thermodynamics, with a pass mark of at least 70%
- South African Citizen-
- The successful applicant will be expected to complete a PhD within 5 years from the date of assumption of duty.
