**Academic Qualifications**
- Matric with minimum D aggregate
- Code 08 unendorsed driver’s license
- Sales courses/certificates will be advantageous
- Tertiary Qualification in Management/Sales &
- Marketing/Commerce
- Evolve literacy

**Work Experience**
- Minimum 2 years’ management experience

**Knowledge**
- Good knowledge of the car sales market
- Knowledge of managing teams and driving sales targets
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Understanding of vehicle finance
- Knowledge of vehicle trading websites

**Key deliverables and outputs**

Performance Management:

- All new employees have a Predictive Index, signed Job Description and Scorecard in their staff files
- All employees have personal development plans in place
- 1-1 Meetings are conducted with all staff monthly
- Ensure Redline team meetings are conducted monthly
- Performance Appraisals / Scorecards are completed bi-annually
- Appropriate action is taken to correct poor performance/misconduct
- Succession plan in place

Stock Management:

- Rotate aged stock to wholesale
- Ensure all stock is displayed and priced correctly
- Ensure that stock checks are conducted weekly and at month end
- Ensure all trade-ins are assessed, have applicable documentation and are test driven
- Update retail website with new stock details & photos daily

Retail Sales:

- Prepare and communicate sales targets for each Sales Representative and F&I Business Manager
- Provide assistance with sales when needed (Range: coaching, declined deals, negotiations, queries, deliveries)
- Ensure each customer is introduced to the F&I Business Manager
- Distribute leads to Sales Representatives daily (Range: internet, referrals)
- Ensure vehicles have been prepared prior to delivery (Range: reconditioned, test driven, accessories fitted, dressed, cleaned and fuelled)
- Discuss sales and CSI targets achieved for the month with Sales Representatives by month-end
- Ensure that Sales Representatives and F&I Business Manager follow up with customer as per procedure
- Meet and greet every customer who has bought a vehicle
- Close working relationship with the Senior F&I Manager.

Administration:

- Ensure adherence to all Work Instructions and Policies
- Ensure all Deal files are fully completed and authorised before delivery as per procedure
- Authorise all order requisitions
- Assist Admin Controllers with queries when needed
- Ensure asset register is current and updated annually
- Conduct audits as per procedure (Range: spare key, registration documents, VTCs, petty cash, daily branch audit)
- Ensure second hand goods license to trade is current
- Compile and submit commissions to Finance as per scheduled deadline
- Authorise all journals and receipting and sign off balancing routine daily

Reports:

- Monitor and provide feedback on debtors and stock daily to Regional Manager
- Compile and submit CSI customer follow ups monthly to CRM by deadline
- Prepare, submit and present monthly branch report by due date
- Action reports as per procedure (Range: creditors age analysis, debtors age analysis, income statement, trading account,CSI, stock ageing)
- Health, safety and environment:

- Occupational Health and Safety Act is communicated and adhered to
- All risk factors are identified, communicated and resolved immediately
- Representatives are trained (Range: fire marshal, first aider)
- Monthly premises inspections are conducted and any irregularities are reported and actioned
- Conduct daily safety walks
- Ensure compliance with Credit 360 requirements
- Continuous improvement:

- Ensure Customer queries are addressed before escalation
- Share best practices
- Act on and drive the culture of respect for people and continuous improvement
- Deliver on Value Streams, RIE and project benefit uplifts
- Manage for daily improvement by attending and conducting daily huddle
