We currently have an opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Huntswood within our Talent Acquisition team, based in Umhlanga, Durban.
With the support of a wider TA team, you will get to manage the end-to-end recruitment for our South Africa locations (Durban and Cape Town), for all support and managerial level, and at times contributing to some senior level hiring. Working closely with senior stakeholders and your HR colleagues, your focus will be to recruit for immediate / planned requirements; to build a strong talent pipeline for the business; and to develop and promote the Employer Brand.
The scope of the role will include supporting recruitment activities in the following functions / areas:
- Operations - supporting functions such as Team Leaders, Operations Leaders, Senior Operations Managers, Planners, WFM etc.
- All other corporate support function recruitment across the business including (HR, finance, IT, marketing) etc.
**Qualifications, Skills & Experience**
- Minimum of matric qualification
- Relevant HR tertiary qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ support function recruitment experience - will consider either agency experience or previous in-house experience.
- Experience partnering with managers, interviewers and team members throughout the recruitment process.
- Must have competency-based interviewing experience.
- Must be well organised and place great emphasis on quality but also quick delivery, with a sense of urgency.
- Must display a passion for recruitment with an innovative, creative, collaborative attitude.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage a diverse portfolio of junior to senior level vacancies - sourcing, advertising, headhunting, screening, assessing and advising the hiring manager.
- Implement creative recruitment strategies to meet hiring demands across the business - using various recruitment methods as appropriate - job boards, LinkedIn, networking, social media channels, referrals, etc.
- Build strategic relationships with the leadership team, bringing updates, insight and market intelligence - communicate challenges / opportunities / ideas.
- Build strong, external, strategic relationships in order to promote Huntswood as an Employer of Choice - develop and maintain fruitful working relationships with our preferred external partners / vendors.
- Assist with other ad hoc duties / projects on occasion
