**Requirements**:
- Five years of experience in a pipe fabrication environment
- Previous work with machinery installation and rigging is an asset
- Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting piping systems such as removing and replacing worn components, doing general maintenance work
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Have a keen attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work efficiently with a minimum of supervision
- Must be punctual and reliable and able to work independently and with a team
**Responsibilities**:
- Planning the layout of piping and sub-systems.
- Expectation that all solder/ brazing/weld/threaded joints be installed according to drawings while maintaining a neat and clean workplace.
- Ability to ensure all cuts/welds are clean, sanded/ground, and inspected; complete any repair, if necessary, before moving product to the next operation.
- Installation of pumps, heat exchangers, tanks, hydronic systems, steam systems, etc.
- Able to troubleshoot and find solutions to piping installation issues.
- Report any unsafe equipment to the supervisor & lockout equipment until repairs can be performed.
- Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
