**Key responsibilities include**:

- Providing an interpretive safari experience on game drive and / or walks daily
- Hosting of guests for the duration of their stay at the lodge
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of guests while on safari
- Coordination extra quests activities on the reserve, do guest allocations and maintain the allocation board
- Take full responsibility for the management of the Safari Department, this includes compiling monthly reports, participate in the budget process and managing budget lines.
- Inspire, stimulate and lead the ranging team and maintain discipline
- Assume overall responsibility for all equipment and vehicles - instil a culture of care
- Uphold Kapama and Reserve code of conduct
- Manage leave cycles and training files
- Hold and facilitate ranger’s meetings
- Oversee Ranger Blogs
- Salary R 15800 - R 16 600 - negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
- including accommodation and company benefits

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Experience**:

- Big 5 Reserve: 6 years (preferred)
- 5* Game Lodge: 5 years (preferred)
- FGASA 2 or NQF4: 5 years (preferred)
- Full Trails Guide: 3 years (preferred)
